VNYmagazine – “Why did you become an actor?”

“I’m a Haitian/American actor from Brooklyn NY , I started acting because storytelling always fascinated me. Whether it’s film, commercials, or dramatic roles, I enjoy bringing authenticity to every character I play to be authentic.

VNYmagazine – “What inspires you as an actor?”

“What inspires me most is human behavior. The art of not just observing how people react in different situations but putting myself in doe’s situation mentally physically bringing that truth into my characters into the screen.

VNYmagazine –  “What type of roles do you enjoy playing?”

“I enjoy roles with depth — characters that have something at stake. Whether it’s a dramatic role or a strong authority figure, I like characters that feel real and grounded.”

VNYmagazine – “What challenges have you faced as an actor?”

“The biggest challenge is persistence. Acting is a long game. You can do 10 auditions a week and you don’t even even get one call so you have to stay committed even when opportunities take time. I’ve learned that consistency and preparation always pay off.”

VNYmagazine –  “What makes you different from other actors?”

“I approach every role with the mindset that the character is a real person. I do the most background research , I like to start back story from what I get on the script, study the psychology behind the character so the performance feels natural rather than performed.”

VNYmagazine –  “What was your most challenging role?”

“One of my most challenging roles is Jones From my new movie Benny’s Story I play this character who is in the Vietnam war , he has a long family history of war hero’s but he’s struggling to live up to family values , Jones is struggling in the inside the director Adam B.Smith allowed me to explore the character’s internal conflict. I love roles where the audience can be in the characters shoes see what the character is going through .”

VNYmagazine –  “What do you think makes a great actor?”

Authenticity. The audience should believe the character exists. A great performance feels natural rather than performed.”

Actors like Viola Davis often talk about truth and vulnerability.

VNYmagazine –  “How do you handle rejection?”

Rejection is part of the business . I focus on preparation and growth rather than outcomes. Every audition is an opportunity to improve.

VNYmagazine –  “Who influenced you as an actor?”

I admire actors who bring depth and realism like Denzel Washington , Michael B Jordan , Marlon Brando . who completely disappear into their roles inspires

VNYmagazine –  “What do you want audiences to feel when they watching you?”

I want audiences to feel like they’re watching a real person, not an actor performing. Someone they can understand/relate to If the audience believes the character, they can relate to them then you’ve your job.

VNYmagazine –  “What’s next for you?

Currently have two projects coming out soon a movie “Benny’s Story “ I’ve wrapped up filming , then currently filming “WestEndGilrz” definitely focusing booking more work.
