A group of art patrons and cultural supporters gathered at the Parrish Art Museum for the opening of Until the Moon Comes over the Mountain, an exhibition presented in collaboration with the FLAG Art Foundation.
Julia Beynenson, a Hamptons-based painter and sculptor, organized a curated experience for the group around the exhibition opening as part of her ongoing efforts to deepen cultural engagement within the community through art. Guests engaged in a conversation on contemporary art, cultural patronage, and the evolving role of cultural institutions. The gathering was warmly supported by Clare Cosman, Deputy Executive Director of the Parrish Art Museum, whose encouragement was deeply appreciated.
The FLAG Foundation was represented by Jonathan Rider, Director of the Foundation and Caroline Cassidy, Deputy Director. Rider gave opening remarks, and both engaged with guests regarding the Foundation’s mission and work.
After the opening and the jazz concert at the Parrish, the group continued the conversation over dinner at Sant Ambroeus in Southampton. The evening amplified art’s power to connect.
